TECHNOLOGY
Advanced Engineering Concepts has perfected advanced prototypes that are connected via a USB cable to computer video games as well as connected to unmanned vehicles that are wirelessly connected through a remote control.  Our advanced prototypes are available for a demonstration of our patented technology.

HOW IT WORKS
Advanced Engineering Concepts emerging joystick technology brings a new, more effective and easier way for users to master the means of motion control. AEC invites the reader of this white paper to try the following exercise to help you understand how our Quickstick’s intuitive method of control works.
Close your eyes and picture yourself advancing towards a multiple flight of stairs that has a landing at each level.
As you advance straight towards the stairs, you move your body straight forward and slide the stick forward. As you go to take the 1st step up, your head tilts back slightly as you climb up each stair and you would tilt the stick back. As you approach the 1st landing, your head levels out and you turn or twist your body to the right or left towards the 1st step on the next flight of stairs, and as you take the 1st step your head once again tilts back as you climb each step. And with the stick you would twist the stick to correspond with the movement or direction of your body. The process of moving forward, tilting your head back as you climb each stair is repeated,  as is the twisting or turning of your body at each landing is repeated until you have climbed all the stairs.
The movements required to perform and control the motions of an Unmanned Vehicle System with AEC’s Quickstick are identical to how we think about moving our bodies or objects that we control. The following sketches below depict the movements and method of control of objects such as UMV’s using AEC’s Quickstick.
